Entrances and Directions to Royal Deeside Motor Show

Address:

The address for the Royal Deeside Motor Show is Kincardine Castle, Kincardine O'Neil, Aberdeenshire, AB34 5AE. Kincardine Castle is located in Kincardine O'Neil a small historic village sited next to the River Dee, some 25 miles inland from Aberdeen up in the north East of Scotland. It is situated on the A93, North Deeside Road, between the larger settlements of Banchory and Aboyne.

We have 2 entrances to the site which are highlighted on our map (please scroll down to see) - Entrance A and Entrance B.

Entrance A - This is the main entrance for visitors and the main car park for all vehicles that are not exhibiting such as staff vehicles, trailers etc.

If you are travelling from Aberdeen and are using Entrance A (for visitors) the best route to take is the A980 through Torphins as this is the easiest way to access the one way road.

Access to Entrance A is via the one way loop (shown in blue on the map below) which can be accessed either from the A980 or A93. For the A980 route (from Aberdeen, via Westhill, Garlogie, Torphins), continue through Torphins and at the crossroads (Co-Op) turn left down the hill. Just after exiting the village, turn right onto the one way loop which will be clearly signposted with yellow and black signs. For the A93 route (from Aberdeen, via Banchory, Kincardine O'Neil), just before Kincardine Village turn right onto the B993 towards Torphins. Just before Torphins Village turn left onto the one way loop which will be clearly signposted with yellow and black signs.

Entrance B - This is the East Drive and is the is the entrance for all exhibitors, traders, retailers, car clubs, individual submissions and campers.

Access to Entrance B is via the East Drive which can be accessed either from the A93 or A980. For the A93 route (from Aberdeen, via Banchory, Kincardine O'Neil), turn right onto the B993 towards Torphins and continue up the hill, following the black and yellow RDMS signs. At the top of the hill turn left where you will see a large sign 'ENTRANCE B' and one of our stewards who will be by the gate house. For the A980 route (from Aberdeen, via Westhill, Garlogie, Torphins), continue through Torphins and at the crossroads (Co-Op) turn left down the hill. Continue out of Torphins (do not follow the yellow and black signs when exiting the village as this is the visitor entrance), continue along the road for around 3 miles and then at the top of the hill turn right where you will see a large sign saying 'ENTRANCE B' and one of our stewards who will be by the gate house.

On arrival please print out your emailed confirmation and make sure that this is clearly visible in your vehicle window above your steering wheel on top of your dashboard (or have it accessible on your phone). At the gate house you will be met by one of our stewards who will direct you to the next steward who will place you on site. Please respect the speed limit as this is a Private Estate.
