Can I camp beside my trader stand?

Any trader requesting to stay on their stand may only be allowed by special permission in advance of the event by both Kincardine Castle and Estate and the Royal Deeside Motor Show event organisers. This may be permitted for ONLY traders/catering vendors and not for showcase exhibitors.

The committee's decision is to allow (with permission) traders only, as it is common for traders to be permitted to stay overnight beside their stand. Not only does this reduce the risk of stock being stolen it also acts as an additional security measure and as a backup to the site security. Ideally only those with easy steal items should camp beside their pitch including tools, clothing, etc. Traders with larger displays who are able to lock their stand, for example, a show trailer, are requested to stay in the designated campsite area.

Any camping must be either in an existing gazebo or behind trader displays. There must be NO clearly visible tents, caravans, or motorhomes on trader stands therefore they must be positioned at the back of the stand with a trailer or gazebo in front. There is an exception to traders who will be using their caravans/motorhomes to form part of the display.

Wristbands will be issued by the campsite duty manager on arrival and these wristbands MUST be worn at all times for anyone entering the campsite.
